I always love to hear about your doodles, and any comments you might have on any of my own – so it was lovely to receive an email from a young girl called Eve a few months ago. Eve told me how much she loved my doodles and that she was also a keen doodler. It was really sweet! Eve told me that she was about to start a new art project at school and asked if she could base it on some of my doodles – excited to see what would happen I of course said yes!
Imagine how happy I was a few weeks ago when another email from Eve popped up in my inbox with some cute pictures of her work. I’m sure you’ll all agree that her project looks fab and I’m ever so pleased that she got in touch with me, and that I had inspired someone to do something doodle based for themselves. It was great to see Eve come up with some characters of her own, I especially like the little carrot man! He’s great!
I wish Eve every success in the future, and hope she keeps on doodling as I’m sure it’ll make her happy. If you’re a doodler, I’d love to hear from you or see some of your work.
My latest range for Disaster Designs is called With Love and is now in the shops. Even though it’s not in my doodle style I was really pleased with how it turned out and it has been a big success so far. It features postcards, butterflies, woodpecker stamps, newspaper print and buttons. I probably love the satchel and overnight bag the most and was also pleased with how pretty the teacups looked. We exhibited the range at the Spring Fair in February and the display looked fab and everyone seemed to love it which was good.
I discovered this gorgeous new range of bags called Singing Mountain from Wu and Wu while I was on holiday in Miami. The colours are perfect as they are really bright and I love the illuminous pink detailing. The pattern is cute and crazy as it features cute little animals doing funny things like kittens doing ninja.
You can now buy all of these lovely products from Little Moose.
Thanks to our fab new team member Neil, our show stand is starting to look much better and looked great at the Pulse show in Earls Court, London, last week. Some of the pictures could be better but here’s a little peek of how it looked.
You can also buy some of these lovely products from my online shop Little Moose.
The other day I spotted that my friend had an amazing bag which she told me was from a wonderful little design company called Pip Studio. I just had to find out a bit more about them and all their super cute and pretty products. Their website is amazing as well – I love everything on it!
One of the things that stood out to me was the incredible attention to detail on their products, as well as the combination’s of patterns and imagery that work perfectly together.
The brand was created by a lady from the Netherlands named Pip who says that:
“[Her] inspiration comes from designing products that she could never find but always wanted”
She’s a real inspiration to me to try and get my Doodllery out there!
You definitely must check out their gorgeous website!
