I always love to hear about your doodles, and any comments you might have on any of my own – so it was lovely to receive an email from a young girl called Eve a few months ago. Eve told me how much she loved my doodles and that she was also a keen doodler. It was really sweet! Eve told me that she was about to start a new art project at school and asked if she could base it on some of my doodles – excited to see what would happen I of course said yes!
Imagine how happy I was a few weeks ago when another email from Eve popped up in my inbox with some cute pictures of her work. I’m sure you’ll all agree that her project looks fab and I’m ever so pleased that she got in touch with me, and that I had inspired someone to do something doodle based for themselves. It was great to see Eve come up with some characters of her own, I especially like the little carrot man! He’s great!
I wish Eve every success in the future, and hope she keeps on doodling as I’m sure it’ll make her happy. If you’re a doodler, I’d love to hear from you or see some of your work.
I’ve had a busy few months including designing lots of lovely things, taking part in a business BBC television series and travelling to Malaysia to get married! One of the things I have been doing is attending a silver-smithing class and this has resulted in me being able to turn some of my little characters into silver jewellery which is really exciting.
So the first designs I have made are a cloud, star and monster called Goon sterling silver little necklaces. As well as this I have designed 3 new Doodllery characters – a fox, owl and cat which are handmade out of acrylic. You can of course buy any of these from my online shop Little Moose.
I was really happy to be involved in designing the logo and shop front of a beautiful new gift shop in Eastbourne. The shop is called ‘Le Loup’ and they wanted a cute identity in my style which included a wolf. I think the sign worked out really well and the shop is so lovely and full of wonderful things.
So if you are in Eastbourne any time you must pop in!
I’m so excited that the latest bags I designed for Disaster Designs have just arrived as I love them! The range is called Songbird and is based around a scrapbook style pattern of whimsical vintage imagery, music notes and quirkiness. My personal favourite part of the pattern are the two cute kittens flying on a flowery cloud as well as a the cupcake girl with bunny ears – they are so sweet and funny! The range consists of a wallet, purse, make-up bag and four different bag shapes which are all zipped closed with an ornate key charm and lined with a beautiful music sheet pattern. I hope you love everything as much as I do!
You can buy all of these lovely things here at Little Moose
I attended the Makers Boutique fair in Brighton recently and had a lovely day. Luckily the sun was shining and so was able to have my stall outside which was lovely. I was pleased to make lots of doodllery sales and happy to see that my brand new cards, necklaces and earrings were well received too! Hope all of the other makers enjoyed the day too.
All of my new designs will be available to buy on Little Moose very soon.
